Founded in 1870 by American missionary Isabella Thoburn, IT College in Lucknow is South Asia’s first fully fledged women’s college. Affiliated with the University of Lucknow and AKTU (for engineering/management programs), it offers humanities, sciences, commerce, education, and professional studies. Set on a historic, green 32-acre Chand Bagh campus near IT Chauraha, the college provides a holistic experience with modern labs, digital classrooms, a chapel, and residential hostels.
